Mrs. Larive, I had the pleasure of meeting your service man, Al, today in Wal Mart store in Myrtle Beach. I am 77 years old and my daughter Emeline and I frequent Wal Mart every week sometimes twice a week. In the last two years since we moved from Georgia we frequent this store now. Every time we have gone there, there is never a wheel chair to ride upon. I think they have a lot but theyre always broken on the side with a plastic bag over the wheel chair that says broken. I was at this store today and met Ali. He was so busy fixing everything. While we were waiting I sat on the bench and as soon as he finished the wheelchair he was so kind to bring it to me. He told me he cleaned it very good especially for me. My daughter was so pleased that she asked him for his business card, and I looked at your web site tonight while we were in the airport to travel to Washington to see my other daughter Sharon. I just wanted to say thank you for repairing the broken wheel chair and by the way when I completed my shopping Mr. Al had all of the wheel chairs fixed. He is so smart. Usually there are always 5 or 6 broken and I have to wait over an hour to shop. Sometimes my daughter Emeline will do all my shopping before I have a chance to catch her. The ones that do work are usually so filthy I would never ride on them. Not any more, now they are so clean and pretty. Mr. Al says this is the first time he has ever been to this store and drove here from Charlotte, North Carolina just to fix the machines. I have come to this store every week and have never seen every machine clean and new looking and all doing what they are supposed to do. The one I rode upon today was so clean and I am so happy. God bless you Mrs. LaRive for what you are doing, Mr. Al told me that you are a lady company. I think he meant women run company, I should say you are very smart also. God Bless you. I am writing to you about a happening on Christmas eve in Raleigh North Carolina and your man Patrick is here at my local Wal Mart getting all these wheelchairs going. This man must be commended on his efforts for coming out on Christmas EVE and repairing these machines. He told me the store had called him the day before and was in desperate need because all the electric wheelchairs were all broken and they were concerned about their customers. Patrick told me the same thing his concern wasn’t for the Wal mart but the Senior Citizens that depend on these wheelchairs. What a true testament to the Christmas Sprit I am in this store 4 days a week and in 30 days have had a working wheelchair twice in thirty days. Since you fellows took over i am able to ride every time. EVERY TIME. since November. I asked the little girl manager when you guys started and she said November. Keep up the good work Patrick.
When I asked him if his wife was upset that he was out and about working on the last shopping day, he pointed over to the young lady next to him and said not really she here with me. Then he handed me a card and I see that Patrick is actually the CEO of the company. He told me his regular man for this area was spending some quality time with his family in Charlotte and that he was happy just to give the guys off for the holidays. Then Three hours later there he is in K Mart helping a lady from her car into her own wheel chair. Amazing.
Who ever the owners are of this company you really need to know that Patrick was your correct choice for customer service. I spent 68 years in the private banking sector and wish I had just ONE Patrick back then. Maybe I could have retired rich instead of handsome.
